Today is a beautiful day in Chicago and it feels like Spring is already here. To celebrate Spring, which begins in just a couple of weeks, I baked a delicious chocolate and vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing. I decorated the cake using a watercolor effect and pipped flowers. The 3D butterfly was made with rice paper. I love the result of this cake that was made for a very special friend on her birthday.
